Q: What is the Rhode Island Ground Water Association?
A: The Rhode Island Ground Water Association (RIGWA) is an organization of professionals who are involved in the design of, manufacture of, supply of, regulation of, and/or installation of various components relating to water wells. These professionals include contractors, engineers, government regulators, manufacturers and suppliers.
The purpose of the Rhode Island Ground Water Association can be found in Article III of the RIGWA's Articles of Incorporation. The RIGWA is recognized as an affiliate state of the National Ground Water Association.
